Agustín is a Vice President at SCP. Prior to joining the firm, he served as an Investor at J.P. Morgan Chase in New York within the Asset & Wealth Management division for over 6 years. In this role, he focused on portfolio construction and asset allocation , partnering with the Investment Bank to develop structured solutions for clients with large concentrated positions. Before his tenure in New York, Agustín spent 6 years at ICBC Argentina in the Global Markets Corporate & Institutional Sales division. Previously, he served as a Market Risk Analyst for the Global Markets division at the same institution.
With over 15 years of experience in international financial markets, Agustín advised corporate and institutional clients on capital markets, liability management, and structured financing. During his time at ICBC, he participated in the execution of $5.2 billion in new public debt issuances. His experience includes the structuring and execution of transactions involving Fixed Income, Equities and FX derivatives, and interest rate swaps , focused on balance sheet optimization for corporate clients.
Agustín holds an MBA with a concentration in Investments and Corporate Finance from the University of Notre Dame, a Master’s degree in Finance with a concentration in Capital Markets from Universidad del CEMA, graduated with distinction, and a B.A. in Economics from Pontificia Universidad Católica Argentina. Agustín is fluent in Spanish and English.
