Federico Villar
Executive Director
Federico is an Executive Director at SCP. Previously to this role, he was an Executive Director at UBS Investment Bank, covering Latin America Southern Cone clients for 7 years. Prior joining UBS in 2015, Federico worked as Senior Analyst for Compass Lexecon at the International Arbitration practice for more than 4 years. Prior to this, he worked as a Quantitative Risk Models Analyst at Banco Galicia in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
During his tenure at UBS, Federico had led and been actively involved on more than 50 executed transactions, advising corporate, sovereign and quasi-sovereign clients on M&A, international equity and debt capital markets, liability management / restructurings and structured financing opportunities across different sectors and geographies. At UBS, Federico led the coverage effort of the natural resources sector for Latin America Southern Cone countries, with particular focus on oil and gas, chemicals and metals and mining companies.
Federico holds a BA in Economics and a MSc in Finance, both from Universidad del CEMA. Federico is fluent in Spanish and English.
