Federico is a Partner of SCP. Previously to this role, he was a senior Executive Director at UBS Investment Bank leading the Debt Origination effort in Latin America Southern Cone countries. Federico originally started his investment banking career at UBS back in early 2008, first as an Analyst in the Latin America Investment Banking team based in Buenos Aires and then as an Associate Director in the Debt Capital Markets team based in Stamford, Connecticut. In mid 2011, he left UBS after accepting the responsibility of running the Debt Capital Markets and Structured Lending effort in the Southern Cone for BNP Paribas. Federico was a Vice President at BNP Paribas until mid-2013, when he re-joined UBS as a Director in the Latin America Investment Banking team. Previous to his Investment Banking career, Federico was a junior consultant at Price Waterhouse Coopers. Federico has 15 years of investment banking experience, having led and been involved in an executed deals volume of +US$150bn across sectors and throughout Latin America, within a broad range of products, in particular in the structured debt, restructuring, liability management and debt capital markets world. In addition to being very close to a significant amount of key decision makers in the corporate and sovereign sphere, Federico has key senior relationships in the institutional investor universe. As a result of this, and having leveraged on his fixed income expertise, he acted as lead negotiator in flagship restructuring transactions in the region. Federico holds two bachelor degrees, one in Business Administration and another one in Accounting, both obtained with Magna Cum Laude honors at Universidad de San Andrés (Buenos Aires, Argentina). Federico is fluent in Spanish and English.
