Ignacio is a Partner at SCP. Previously to this role, he was a senior Executive Director at UBS Investment Bank, responsible for the coverage of the consumer, agribusiness, FIG, financial sponsors and energy sector in Latin America Southern Cone countries for 6 years. Before joining UBS, Ignacio worked for more than 8 years at Itau BBA, executing M&A and ECM transactions across South America. Prior to Itau BBA, Ignacio worked for 3 years in the M&A department of Santander in Argentina.
Ignacio has almost 20 years of investment banking experience in South America advising corporate, sovereign and quasi-sovereign clients on M&A, equity capital markets, debt capital markets, liability management / restructurings and structured financing opportunities. Ignacio has executed transactions in different sectors, products and geographies for c. US$ 150 bn, including his leadership in the first SPAC in the region and innovative transactions across the macro cycles in Latin America.
Ignacio holds an MBA from IAE Business School graduated with distinction, a Master of Finance Degree with concentration in Capital Markets from UADE and M.Sc. in Industrial Engineering from ITBA graduated with distinction. Ignacio is fluent in Spanish, English and Portuguese.
